The Algerian Ligue 1 club CS Constantine has entered a period of significant internal instability during the 2026-2027 season.

On October 18, the club management dismissed head coach Mondher Kebaier following a series of inconsistent results, including a 4-2 home defeat against JS El Biar. Kebaier had previously suggested that “abnormal things” occurring behind the scenes had negatively impacted player concentration.

Following the coaching change, the club continued to struggle on the pitch, suffering a 0-3 defeat against Olympique Akbou. This poor performance was followed by the resignation of sporting director Tarek Arama on October 24, leaving the club’s board of directors searching for a successor amidst ongoing difficulties.
