CSKA Sofia has engaged in several player loan arrangements during the 2026/27 season to increase playing time for its squad members.

In August, the club reached an agreement to loan Albanian winger Kevin Dodaj to the Polish club Lechia Gdańsk until the end of the season. Reports indicate the move may involve a transfer fee of approximately 650,000 euros, with CSKA Sofia expected to retain a 20% stake in the player’s rights. 

Following this, in September, the club finalized a loan for 21-year-old midfielder Julian Iliev to Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Iliev, a product of the CSKA youth academy, is expected to remain with Lokomotiv until the end of the 2026/27 season to gain experience at the First League level.
