The XXXIX Cuenca Craft Fair has opened with 84 exhibitors, representing an increase of 16 participants compared to the previous edition. The event is designed to connect artisans with the public and establish new commercial opportunities.

Marian López, the Junta delegate in Cuenca, emphasized the economic and cultural significance of the sector. She noted that there are currently 63 credentialed artisans in the province. Since the beginning of the current legislature, the Government of Castilla-La Mancha has provided approximately 180,000 euros in aid to the provincial artisan sector, with over half of those funds dedicated to digitalization and promotion to expand sales channels and audience reach. Applications for 2026 aid are currently being processed.
