Bucharest is hosting new cultural initiatives in late 2026. The New Landscape festival, themed ‘Contamination’, is scheduled to launch from October 21 to 25, focusing on the intersection of art, science, nature, and film. The event introduces the Center for Applied Art and Science (CASA) to the city's cultural scene.

Additionally, the Lumina Park international outdoor light trail concept is debuting at the Dimitrie Brândză Botanical Garden on October 16. Titled ‘Ocolul Pământului’ (Around the World), the exhibition features a 1.5-kilometer nocturnal route with over 200 light installations and musical elements, which is expected to remain open until January 2027.
