Cultural activities in Germany and Switzerland have included historical excursions and upcoming art exhibitions.

In late September, the Kirchenchor Muri conducted a tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Maulbronn Monastery and the imperial city of Speyer. In Obernburg, Germany, local associations hosted a theatrical walking tour titled ‘Hört, was die Mauern erzählen…’ which integrated historical insights with live performances.

Scheduled art exhibitions include the ‘Trio-Farb-Werk’ showcase in Oberwil, Switzerland, featuring works by Agnes Skipper, Peter Loretan, and Martin Alt. In Gaienhofen, Germany, the Hesse Museum will present an exhibition of etchings dedicated to Hermann Hesse. Additionally, the Galerie Bunte Hunde in Oberhausen will host Suria Kassimi’s exhibition, ‘zwischen stein und poesie,’ which uses pinhole photography and phytograms to examine industrial history and landscapes.
