The City of Laval and local organizations are conducting various cultural and community initiatives throughout the autumn season.

Signé Laval launched ‘Cœur de quartier’, a cultural mediation project involving fourteen workshops designed to help residents explore local heritage through personal archives and collective memory. These sessions aim to produce artistic legacies, such as podcasts and written stories, based on citizen testimonies.

Concurrently, the Société nationale du Québec à Laval (SNQL) is celebrating its 10th anniversary with ‘L’Assemblement’, a series of free programs including discussion panels, intercultural tours, and workshops. The City of Laval is also hosting educational events regarding local history and community festivals, such as the Val-Martin Festival in Chomedey.
