In early October 2026, Colombia hosted several large-scale commercial and cultural events. In Bogotá, the Corferias venue hosted the Bogotá International Industrial Fair (FIB) from September 28 to October 2, which showcased technological advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, and industrial automation.

Following the industrial fair, the focus shifted to cultural and regional events. The Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía (SOFA) commenced in Bogotá on October 8, centered on geek culture, anime, and cosplay. Concurrently, the CosechArte fair opened in Tunja, featuring regional Boyacá products such as emeralds, coffee, and handicrafts.
