Marrakech and broader Morocco are experiencing a period of diverse cultural, religious, and economic activity. In early September 2026, Marrakech focused on luxury tourism through the PURE Life Experiences event, while simultaneously conducting law enforcement crackdowns on the illegal sale of protected wildlife species in local markets.

By October, the focus shifted toward cultural and religious observances. Marrakech hosted Sukkot celebrations for Jewish communities and prepared for the eighth edition of Marrakech Folklore Days. Concurrently, Rabat highlighted its botanical and artistic heritage through conservation efforts and art exhibitions.
