Cultural programming in Quebec has featured a variety of localized events, ranging from outdoor recreational activities to large-scale arts festivals.

In mid-September, Montreal hosted the ‘Tranquille à roulettes’ event at Esplanade Tranquille, providing outdoor roller skating with retro disco music. Concurrently, Quebec City held the Envol et Macadam festival, which focused on metal and hardcore music performances.

As the month progressed, preparations intensified for the 2026 Journées de la culture. In the Haut-Saint-Laurent MRC, scheduled activities included art exhibitions, a photo contest, and the Festival Terre Ferme. Meanwhile, the Thérèse-De Blainville MRC prepared to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the event with 28 free activities across 16 locations, featuring workshops, historical tours, and performances in circus, music, and theater.
