Salvador is scheduled to host two major cultural events. The 7th edition of Festival FALA! will occur from August 20 to 22 at Casa de Castro Alves, focusing on the theme “Communication that crosses time and screens” to discuss media transformations and disinformation. 

Following this, the 18th Japanese Culture Festival will take place from September 4 to 7 at the Parque de Exposições. This four-day event will feature Japanese gastronomy, workshops, exhibitions, and a performance by J-rock singer Nanase Aikawa. The festival includes a social ticket option where attendees can donate non-perishable food to support the Bahia Sem Fome program.
