Cultural institutions in Incheon are hosting various educational lecture series focused on history, humanities, and traditional culture. The Incheon City Museum’s 28th Museum University course, themed ‘History as a Mirror’, offers lectures on topics such as the ‘Shiji’, Joseon Dynasty foreign relations, and the leadership of King Sejong. Additionally, the Korea Modern Literature Museum is hosting ‘Today’s Life with Tradition’, led by author Park Young-bin, focusing on antique collecting and traditional elements in modern life.

In October 2026, the city’s programming expands to include the 28th Incheon Architecture Festival from October 16 to 21 at the Incheon Culture and Arts Center. Themed ‘change’, the festival features award-winning works, student competitions, and exhibitions from the Incheon International Architecture Exhibition and the Incheon Sculptors Association.

The 4th Baedari Festival will take place in Jemulpo-gu on October 24–25, highlighting the history of Baedari alleys through humanities concerts and exhibitions at the old Changyeong Elementary School.

Educational offerings extend into late 2026, with Incheon University’s Lifelong Education Center hosting a lecture series titled ‘Creation: Ja-dam – What is the Meaning of Human Creation in the AI Era?’ from November 18 to December 16, exploring human creativity in the age of artificial intelligence.
