The Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) has launched ‘L’escena ens mou’, a performing arts cycle intended to support 18 municipalities in the Valencian Community impacted by the 2024 floods.

Scheduled to run through December, the initiative features 32 performances across various regions, including Horta Sud, Ribera Alta, and Ribera Baixa. The program includes theatre, dance, and circus arts presented by 13 local companies in both public spaces and indoor venues. The project aims to utilize cultural mediation to encourage citizen participation and connect artistic creation with the local territory, featuring works that address themes such as environmental preservation and social power dynamics.
