French cyclist Aubin Sparfel achieved significant competitive success in late 2026.

In August, the 20-year-old won the fourth stage of the Tour de l’Avenir, a 150.8-kilometer route from Saint-Vallier to Semur-en-Auxois. Sparfel secured the win by making a decisive move on a cobbled uphill section, finishing two seconds ahead of Mattia Negrente and Riccardo Lorello.

Following this success, Sparfel, now riding for Decathlon-CMA CGM, won the 66th edition of the Gran Premio de Valonia in Belgium. In a close finish between Seraing and the Citadel of Namur, he overtook Romain Grégoire in the final meters to secure the victory.
