Czech comedy films have demonstrated significant viewership success on the Oneplay streaming platform. In late September, the film ‘Někdo to rád v Plzni’ maintained its position as the most-watched title on the service for seven consecutive weeks following its theatrical run.

By mid-October, the trend continued with the release of ‘Birthday Wishes: The Christening’ (Přání k narozeninám: Křtiny). Directed by Marta Ferencová, the film reached the top of the weekly TOP 10 most-watched movies list within five days of its October 12 debut. The film also saw viewership success on the Slovak streaming service Voyo.
