Czech libraries have received various national and regional recognitions for modernization and community engagement.

The Matěj Josef Sychra Library in Žďár nad Sázavou was named a finalist in the Regiostars competition, ranking among the top 25 projects in the European Union. This follows a reconstruction project that transformed the facility into a modern cultural and educational hub.

During Library Week in the Czech Republic, additional honors were distributed. The Ministry of Culture named the Municipal Library in Oldřichov u Hajek as Library of the Year in the Basic Library category, while the Library of the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec was recognized for revitalization efforts. Other awards included the City Library of the Year in Třinec and the MARK prize, which honors innovative librarians under the age of 35.
