By early October, competitive play was underway. The Sharks Karlovy Vary achieved a significant 17:1 victory against Havířov, marked by the return of goaltender Bohumír Mach after a 931-day injury absence. The Sharks also secured a 6:3 win over the Flamingos. In other matchups, the Pardubice Mustangs defeated the defending champions, Olomouc, with a score of 5:1.
