The Potato Saturday (Bramborová sobota) festival attracted record-breaking crowds to various locations in the Czech Republic. At the Zubačka rack railway in Kořenov, the event featured historic locomotives on the Tanvald–Harrachov line, resulting in significant crowding at Kořenov station and on Czech Railways international passenger trains.

Regional potato culture was celebrated through culinary offerings such as 'sejkory' and potato pancakes. Simultaneously, the Veselý Kopec museum hosted a program involving potato cultivation, breeding, and storage, which included workshops, theater performances, and musical acts in collaboration with the Potato Research Institute.
