Railway heritage and milestones are being celebrated across the Czech Republic through various regional events.

In Česká Třebová, a Regional Railway Day was scheduled for September 19, featuring an exhibition of historical and modern rolling stock, steam locomotive operations, and model railway displays. 

Other regional celebrations included the 140th anniversary of the rail connection between Velké Meziříčí and Studenec, highlighted by trips using the steam locomotive 555. 129, known as ‘Němka’. This event included exhibitions of vintage Tatra driving cars and automobiles. Additionally, in Bohumín, the regional Railway Day concluded a series of events for the Day of Railwaymen, offering public access to the depot, steam train rides, and trips on former mining tracks.
