In the Chance ŽBL women’s basketball league, Basket Ostrava secured a 77:72 victory against Hradec Králové. Ostrava mounted a comeback in the final three minutes of the match, driven by three-pointers from Lucie Válková and Marina Ewodová. Hradec Králové coach Romana Ptáčková attributed the loss to three turnovers and poor free-throw shooting in the closing moments.

Separately, Káry Trutnov is preparing for a matchup against ZVVZ USK Praha. Assistant coach Vojtěch Čech and player Babeta Loučková noted the importance of intensity and courage when facing the EuroLeague regular participant.
