Governor Tarek Marzouk of Dakahlia has continued his oversight of regional development, focusing on public services, food security, and urban infrastructure.

Building on previous efforts to monitor food supplies, Marzouk conducted field inspections in Dekernes. During these visits, he reviewed the provincial bakery, commodity outlets, and the local technological center. He reiterated his focus on bread quality and weight, instructing officials to ensure subsidies reach eligible citizens and to prevent unauthorized distribution. He also called for immediate action against market violations and directed the technological center to expedite files regarding the legalization of state property and reconciliation processes to protect citizen interests.

In Mansoura, the Governor’s focus has expanded to urban beautification and recreation. He conducted a night inspection of the new Mansoura walkway in the Turiel area, a project designed to enhance the city’s appearance and provide recreational spaces along the Nile. To preserve the site, Marzouk instructed local authorities to maintain continuous surveillance via the national emergency network and to ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of lighting and seating.
