Dangote Cement Plc has implemented several community development initiatives across Nigeria. In Lagos, the company’s Clinker Terminal donated classroom furniture and learning materials, including chairs, tables, and school bags, to Ladi-Lak Nursery and Primary School in Apapa to improve the learning environment.

Following this, the company’s Obajana Plant launched empowerment programmes in the Jakura community. These efforts included educational grants for 60 secondary school students and 20 tertiary beneficiaries, as well as financial and tool support for 20 farmers and start-up capital for 20 market women. Local leaders also noted that an electrification project in the Jakura area is nearing completion.
