The Danish Championship in car orienteering was hosted in Struer, serving as the fifth and final round of the season.

Initially, race leader Poul Bo Madsen announced a plan for a varied course covering forest, countryside, and industrial areas. Due to the event being scheduled for a Friday evening, organizers planned for shorter routes to ensure participants finished before dark. The competition relied heavily on cooperation from local landowners to access private gravel and forest roads.

Following the event, Struer & Omegns Motor Sport secured both gold and silver medals. The competition included four classes with routes spanning 50 to 65 kilometers, passing through Fousing, Klosterheden, and Fabjerg before concluding in Rom. The race was noted to have benefited from favorable dry weather.
