Developments: 2. New immersive productions celebrating the life and work of David Bowie have been announced for international debuts. In the United Kingdom, the experience titled ‘David Bowie: You’re Not Alone’ is scheduled to run at the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange from 16 July to 30 August 2027. Produced by Lightroom and designed by Studio 59, the show utilizes material from the David Bowie Archive to explore themes of spirituality, songwriting, and creativity through 11-metre-high projected walls and spatial audio. In Germany, the concert experience ‘David Bowie Stage’ is set to have its world premiere at Berlin’s Uber Arena on 14 February 2027, during the 77th Berlin International Film Festival. Directed by filmmaker Brett Morgen, the production utilizes previously unseen 35mm film footage from the 1978 Isolar II World Tour, including performances of material from the album ‘Heroes’. This footage was discovered by Morgen during research for the 2022 documentary ‘Moonage Daydream’. A collaboration between the David Bowie Estate, Rob Hallett’s Wonderworld, and Brett Morgen, the presentation features a three-screen setup with large-scale projections, transparent LED screens, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, and an immersive audio mix by Paul Massey using 7.1 surround technology. Following the Berlin premiere, the project is intended to embark on a global tour targeting markets in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-27: David Bowie immersive concert experience to premiere in Berlin Filmmaker Brett Morgen will premiere ‘Stage’, an immersive multimedia concert experience using rare 1978 David Bowie footage, at the 2027 Berlin International Film Festival. 21 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/david-bowie-immersive-concert-experience-to-premiere-in-berlin ### 2026-09-30: David Bowie immersive experience to debut at Brighton Dome The immersive experience ‘David Bowie: You’re Not Alone’ will run at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange from July to August 2027, featuring archival footage and spatial audio. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/david-bowie-immersive-experience-to-debut-at-brighton-dome --- Cite as: David Bowie immersive experiences.
