DC Studios has confirmed the lead voice cast for the upcoming Mister Miracle animated series. Josh Hutcherson is set to voice Scott Free, while Mackenzie Davis will voice Big Barda. The eight-episode project is written by showrunner Tom King, based on his Eisner Award-winning comic book series.

Co-CEO James Gunn has confirmed the series is canon to the DC Universe (DCU). Industry observers suggest the project may serve as a test for the DCU’s continuity strategy, as Gunn has indicated that actors may play the same roles across film, television, and animation platforms.
