Kyle Francis Kennedy, granddaughter of former U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy, died at the age of 42 on September 21 at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts. 

A dedicated educator and disability rights advocate, Kennedy held master’s degrees from Pace University and Harvard University. Following a severe spinal cord injury in 2020 that resulted in long-term paralysis, she became a vocal advocate for the disabled community, including testifying before the Massachusetts State House regarding healthcare discrimination.

She is survived by her mother, Victoria Denise Gifford, and her two sons, Conor and Declan.
