Lisa Diana Tambunan, the mother of Indonesian actress Marsha Aruan, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026. While initial reports noted she had been receiving hospital treatment without specifying a cause, subsequent details from her nephew, Benjamin, revealed she had undergone intensive medical treatment for two months.

Her condition reportedly declined suddenly due to shortness of breath and a drop in blood oxygen saturation. Medical examinations identified the cause as acute respiratory distress resulting from a bacterial lung infection. Following a wake at the RS Ukrida funeral home in West Jakarta, she was buried on October 21, 2026, at the Tanah Kusir cemetery in South Jakarta.
