Hannah Terry, a 45-year-old physician who provided medical care to senior members of the British Royal Family during their stays at Sandringham, was found dead in her home in Dersingham, Norfolk. 

Preliminary forensic reports indicate the victim suffered severe blunt force trauma to the right side of her head and signs of neck compression. Authorities have arrested her partner, 45-year-old Mark Cain, who has been formally charged with murder. He is scheduled to appear before the Norwich Magistrates' Court. 

The incident occurred during a sleepover organized by Terry for her three children and their friends. While Buckingham Palace has not issued an official statement, King Charles III was observed wearing black as a sign of mourning. The medical center where Terry worked has temporarily closed due to the impact on staff.
