Dutch symphonic metal band Delain has announced a significant creative shift following the departure of vocalist Diana Leah. Rather than recruiting a permanent replacement for Leah, who joined in 2022, the group is transitioning into a musical collective.

Founder Martijn Westerholt will remain the central figure alongside core members Ludovico Cioffi, Ronald Landa, and Sander Zoer. This new model will utilize a rotating cast of guest vocalists and musicians for both studio recordings and live performances to provide diverse perspectives to the project.

To launch this new era, the band released the single ‘We Are Fire’, featuring Fabienne Erni, Noa Gruman, and Paolo Ribaldini. Other confirmed collaborators for upcoming projects include Marko Hietala, Sharon den Adel, Anneke van Giersbergen, and Patty Gurdy.
