Delhi Police have conducted separate operations targeting the illegal possession of narcotics and firearms.

In late August, the Anti-Narcotics Squad arrested a 34-year-old gym trainer in Mayapuri. Authorities seized 4 grams of cocaine, an illegal Italian-made PB Beretta Gardone VT automatic pistol, a magazine, and five live cartridges.

In early September, the Special Cell dismantled an inter-state arms smuggling racket. Two individuals, aged 19 and 20, were arrested following the recovery of six country-made pistols and 10 live cartridges. Investigations indicated the suspects were transporting weapons from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi via bus travel.
