Sources: 9. Developments: 2. To mark the second anniversary of the tactical shooter ‘Delta Force’, developer Team Jade has announced a series of updates and a development roadmap extending into 2027. Technical updates focus on the integration of Unreal Engine 5, which will be used for a new Warfare map scheduled for November 2026 and the ‘Siege: Valkyrie’ Operations map planned for early 2027. The ‘Siege: Valkyrie’ map is described as a besieged city featuring high-risk inner zones and resource-scarce outer zones. New gameplay content includes the ‘Detonation’ bomb-defusal mode, which entered beta for PC and mobile on September 27, with console versions expected later in the year. Other features include the ‘Operator Archives’ for character backstories and the upcoming ‘Operator Quarters’ social space. Gameplay improvements such as a ‘one-click equipment’ system and updated tutorials have also been introduced. In the esports sector, the RISE Series Season 2 is ongoing, with top teams from the Americas and EMEA competing for qualification in the inaugural Delta Force Invitational at DreamHack Stockholm in late November. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-30: Delta Force reveals 2027 roadmap and Unreal Engine 5 content Delta Force developer Team Jade revealed a roadmap through 2027, featuring Unreal Engine 5 maps, a new bomb-defusal mode called Detonation, and expanded social and competitive features. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/delta-force-reveals-2027-roadmap-and-unreal-engine-5-content ### 2026-09-26: Delta Force announces second anniversary updates and new features Delta Force celebrates its second anniversary with the ‘Season Reorientation’ update, introducing Unreal Engine 5 features, new maps, a bomb defusal mode, and streamlined gameplay mechanics. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/delta-force-announces-second-anniversary-updates-and-new-features --- Cite as: Delta Force video game updates and roadmap.
