Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has been involved in various traditional and ceremonial events within the state.

In late August, the Governor’s son, Innocent, held a traditional wedding to Tobore Arigbodi in Isiokolo, following Urhobo customs. The ceremony was attended by several political and business leaders, including Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme and former governors Chief James Ibori and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

In early September, Governor Oborevwori issued a goodwill message to celebrate the 67th coronation anniversary of the Obi of Owa Kingdom, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II.
