Levent Altuntaş, President of the Denizli Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association (DENTUROD), has called for enhanced cooperation between municipalities, the public sector, and civil society to advance tourism in Denizli. 

Altuntaş indicated that the association is prioritizing the identification of investment needs within the Denizli city center and the Karahayıt and Pamukkale regions. To ensure long-term stability, he intends to establish a more institutionalized structure through various committees and commissions. 

Denizli serves as a major hub for thermal, religious, and cultural tourism, with approximately 2 to 2.5 million foreign tourists visiting annually via Pamukkale. Key historical sites highlighted include Hierapolis, Laodicea, and the Church of Saint Philip.
