The State Transit Department of Mato Grosso do Sul (Detran-MS) has introduced several updates to its service delivery and digital systems.

Initially, the department implemented the ‘Guia Flex’ system, which allows motorists to choose whether to include non-overdue traffic fines when paying for vehicle licensing. This measure is intended to provide drivers with greater financial flexibility and autonomy. 

Following this, Detran-MS began delivering printed National Driver's Licenses (CNH) via Sedex express mail to accelerate document delivery and increase convenience. The department manages between 10,000 and 15,000 printed licenses monthly. To address delivery issues, the agency has established protocols for undelivered documents, including holding them at central post offices in Campo Grande or sending them to local Detran-MS agencies in the state's interior for pickup.
