In mid-September, Governor Rolando Figueroa and Mayor Claudio Larraza presided over a ceremony to grant property deeds and survey certificates to 68 residents. This regularization process, which addressed some residents' waits of over 20 years, allows families to access the Neuquén Habita program for housing construction and improvements through ADUS. By late September, the municipality expanded its focus to long-term provincial planning by hosting a citizen participation meeting for the ‘Neuquén Próximo 2030–2050’ program. This COPADE-driven initiative seeks to incorporate perspectives from civil society, universities, and various professional sectors into the province's development vision. Concurrently, the municipality launched a local job recruitment drive targeting technical profiles for three companies. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-27: Plaza Huincul hosts provincial planning forum and job recruitment Plaza Huincul hosted a citizen participation forum for the ‘Neuquén Próximo 2030–2050’ provincial planning program and announced new technical job opportunities for local residents. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/plaza-huincul-hosts-provincial-planning-forum-and-job-recruitment ### 2026-09-12: Plaza Huincul residents receive property deeds and survey certificates Governor Rolando Figueroa delivered property deeds and survey certificates to 68 residents in Plaza Huincul to facilitate access to non-banking housing credits. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/plaza-huincul-residents-receive-property-deeds-and-survey-certificates --- Cite as: Development and planning initiatives in Plaza Huincul.
