In late August 2026, Paradox Co., Ltd. announced an exclusive pre-sale in Japan for the Beifa AI Smart Glasses GE01-3. Developed by Beifa Group, these glasses prioritize privacy by omitting screens and cameras. They utilize ChatGPT to offer real-time translation for up to 165 languages, including an offline mode that functions without an internet connection. Additional features include AI-driven transcription, summarization, and automatic mind map generation.

Following this, Berlin-based 52°N announced its Departure Collection to be showcased at IFA 2026. This collection includes the ‘Berlin’ and ‘Milan’ models, which use Goya AI to power an ‘AI Tour Guide’ feature for providing context on landmarks and artworks. Like the Beifa models, these glasses support real-time translation. The company also plans to debut a prototype with interchangeable magnetic frames.
