Carbonara Games and publisher 11 bit studios are developing Crop, a single-player farming management game with a psychological horror and survival-horror narrative. 

Initial footage released during The MIX Fall Showcase showcased a gameplay loop involving agricultural tasks like irrigation and weed clearing, paired with an investigation into a protagonist’s forgotten past. The setting involves a starving, distrustful community where players must earn local confidence while uncovering secrets. 

Subsequent gameplay reveals detailed the survival elements, noting that players start with no memories and must manage a dilapidated farm to feed a nearby town. While drawing comparisons to titles like Stardew Valley, developers emphasize a darker atmosphere characterized by barren soil and a suspicious population. The game is currently in development for PC via Steam and GOG, with a projected release window in 2027.
