Vingroup is developing the Hung Vuong International Sports Complex in southern Hanoi, a 400-hectare hub for sports, culture, and entertainment. The centerpiece is the VinFast - Trong Dong Stadium, a 135,000-seat venue designed to be the world’s largest, featuring an automated retractable roof and a pitch replaceable within 6 to 10 hours. The stadium is scheduled for completion in July 2027.

Construction of the four main stands (A, B, C, and D) is proceeding simultaneously, with the reinforced-concrete frame expected to be finished by December 2026. Following this, work will transition to the retractable roof, electrical systems, and the pitch. The facility aims to integrate advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G-connected smart seating, and real-time security systems.

To support the complex, a major infrastructure project known as the National Highway 1A space axis is set to begin construction in May 2026. This 36.3 km project, with an estimated investment of 162 trillion VND (approximately 6 billion USD), is scheduled for completion in 2027. The highway will feature a width of up to 90 meters and is intended to provide direct access to the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area, connecting the city center to the new development.

In addition to the primary stadium, the complex will include a 40,000-seat Olympic stadium for athletics, a 12,000-seat Hanoi Sport Arena, and a 10,000-seat Aquatic Center.
