Paco Esteban, a young Spanish forward for Lecce, has seen a rise in prominence following his performances in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. After scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 friendly victory against Altamura, reports indicated the club was working on a contract extension to move him beyond the standard youth sector salary structure.

Simone Schipa, the Lecce Primavera coach, has commented on Esteban’s transition from the youth squad to the first team. Schipa described him as a “technically strong, atypical striker” noted for his attacking depth and scoring ability. Schipa also observed that Esteban has shown a “significant increase in his defensive sacrifice” since joining the senior team.
