Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat gained social media attention following a fan meeting where her diverse fashion styles and a viral moment involving black lace and a red rose sparked widespread discussion.

Following the Dior Spring/Summer 27 collection show on September 29, controversy arose when the fashion house appeared to remove images of Dilraba, its Global Ambassador, from its official Instagram account. This led to backlash from Chinese fans on Weibo, with speculation regarding whether the actress was being sidelined. The situation appeared to resolve on October 3 when Dior reposted new images featuring Dilraba in the opening slot, leading to interpretations that the previous removal was due to technical or aesthetic adjustments rather than a change in her ambassadorial status.

By October 12, data from the analysis platform Lefty indicated that Dilraba’s presence at the Dior event generated an estimated $20 million in Earned Media Value (EMV), placing her at the top of Chinese artists regarding media impact. During Paris Fashion Week, she received high-profile treatment, including traveling to the runway in a limousine and sitting alongside high-ranking executives from Dior and the LVMH group. Her appearance has since garnered international recognition from publications such as L’officiel and Manifest Magazine.
