Dubrovnik Mayor Mato Franković has engaged in various diplomatic and cooperative activities. In early October, the Mayor hosted the 28th Dubrovnik Seminar of the Diplomatic Academy, which brought together approximately 30 young diplomats to discuss democracy, human rights, and security under the theme ‘Protecting European Values in a Changing World: Navigating Soft and Hard Power’.

Following this seminar, Mayor Franković met with a delegation from the Polish district of Bochnia, led by Adam Korta. The discussions centered on tourism promotion, civil protection, and the preservation of cultural heritage. The meeting included an exchange of knowledge regarding heritage reconstruction and the management of cultural assets during crises.
