# Disappearance of Joshua Gates in British Columbia

Joshua Gates, a teenager from Victoria, British Columbia, has been missing since July. While he was believed to be traveling with another youth, Jahmai Nathan Joe, who was later found safe, Gates’s whereabouts remain unknown.

In August, the Terrace RCMP concluded its investigation after finding no recent information or sightings to suggest Gates was still in Northern British Columbia. The case was subsequently referred back to the Victoria Police Department. 

As of September, Gates’s family is renewing appeals for information, specifically requesting assistance from residents in the Terrace and Kitimat areas. Gates is described as 5’10” with brown hair and brown eyes, and may be associated with a blue Honda Civic.
