Walt Disney World is expanding its Disney Dreamers Academy through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs. The initiative is transitioning from its traditional model of hosting 100 high school students annually into a year-round, multi-year program designed to reach middle school students earlier.

A pilot program involving 200 students across Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston was planned for a January 2027 launch. The curriculum includes mentorship from Disney Cast Members, career exploration, and community service.

Following the selection of the inaugural class, a kickoff celebration was held at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Hank Kline Club, marking the start of the program for participants from Miami-Dade, Orlando, Atlanta, and Houston.
