Disney and Cinecolor Colombia have announced a collaborative initiative to re-release the animated film “Encanto” in Colombian cinemas starting November 12. The project aims to support communities affected by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred on August 10.

Royalties from the film’s box office, supplemented by a direct financial contribution from Disney, will be donated to the Colombian Red Cross, specifically the Cundinamarca and Bogotá sections. These funds are designated for humanitarian aid, care, and reconstruction efforts in the departments of Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Quindío, Risaralda, and Caldas. Screenings are expected to take place in various cities, including Cali, Manizales, Pereira, and Armenia.
