Walt Disney World has released refurbishment schedules for the Disney Skyliner gondola system covering both 2027 and 2028. 

The system is slated for a seven-day closure from January 24 to January 30, 2027. A subsequent maintenance period is scheduled for 2028, running from January 24 through February 2. 

During these windows, guests at connected resorts—including Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and BoardWalk Inn—will lose direct gondola access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney will provide complimentary bus transportation to replace the service, though travelers are advised to account for additional travel time.
