The public tension between journalist Selvaggia Lucarelli and rapper Fedez has evolved from commentary on personal history to accusations regarding political influence.

During an event in Milan, Lucarelli read excerpts from a novel about Fedez, using the opportunity to characterize his social and professional dynamics as being driven by conflicting interests and envy. This followed a history of legal disputes, including a complaint by Fedez regarding Lucarelli’s journalistic practices.

The conflict escalated when Lucarelli published a blog post accusing Fedez of being aligned with “influential lobbyists and power circles.” Fedez denied these claims via his ‘Pulp Podcast,’ stating he has no financial ties to political parties or state entities, and challenged Lucarelli to provide evidence of his alleged profiteering from such influence.
