A series of domestic violence incidents involving murder-suicides has been reported in Bengaluru.

In mid-August, a 40-year-old man allegedly killed his two minor daughters at a hotel near Kempegowda International Airport following marital disputes and suspicions of infidelity. The man survived a self-inflicted throat wound.

During the same period, a 32-year-old civil engineer allegedly killed his wife during an argument over property ownership before committing suicide by hanging. 

In early September, a separate incident occurred in the Vibhutipura area where an autorickshaw driver allegedly killed his wife with a knife and a beer bottle, reportedly triggered by a dispute over her use of social media reels, before taking his own life.
