Donald Trump drew attention for a social media error regarding election results. While criticizing the American electoral system as ‘corrupt’ due to slow vote counting in various cities and states, he mistakenly claimed that 125 million people voted in an Indian presidential election and that results were announced almost immediately.

Trump later issued a correction on Truth Social, clarifying that he was referring to the first round of the presidential election in Brazil, where 125 million valid votes were cast and results began appearing shortly after polls closed.
