The sixth edition of the Donnafugata International Award was held in Palma di Montechiaro, Sicily. The event, directed by Francesco Bellia, aimed to establish a cultural bridge between Sicily and Hollywood.

The ceremony faced logistical difficulties due to volcanic activity from Mount Etna, which resulted in the closure of Catania airport. To ensure the event could proceed, organizers rerouted artists and VIP guests through Palermo airport. Additionally, the venue was moved to Piazza Provenzani, with the stage set in front of the Benedictine Monastery.

Award recipients included Kaspar Capparoni, Nathaly Caldonazzo, Simona Cavallari, Samuel Peron, Serena Iansiti, Syria, and American actor Daniel McVicar. Local Mayor Stefano Castellino highlighted the importance of the prize in promoting the region’s architectural heritage.
