Gospel artist Donnie McClurkin has released his final studio album, ‘FINALLY’, marking the conclusion of a recording career spanning over forty years. The 13-track project was released through Camdon Music and distributed by Syntax Creative.

The album features the single ‘Lord, I Thank You’, which McClurkin noted became ‘more real to me than ever before’ following a significant medical emergency in August 2025. During that incident in Nashville, following the Stellar Awards, McClurkin suffered congestive heart failure, collapsed, and remained in a coma for four days. Another single from the project, ‘Better Afterwhile’, reached number one on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart.

Collaborations on the album include longtime partners Trent Phillips and Tre’ Corley, as well as a closing track, ‘Place in This World’, featuring Michael W. Smith. While McClurkin previously stated on ‘The Nightly Spirit’ that he is ‘hanging this coat up and moving on’, he has clarified that while he is stepping away from commercial studio recordings, he intends to continue his ministry and remains committed to his calling.
