Singer Dove Cameron has released the single ‘do the math’ as a precursor to her debut studio album, Final Girl. The track is described as a piano-driven pop ballad that addresses themes of emotional immaturity and toxic relationship patterns.

Originally recorded in 2021 and previously teased through social media and live performances, the song was co-written by Cameron with Mark Schick, Tyler Spry, Evan Blair, Madison Love, and Madi Yanofsky. To promote the release, Cameron used mathematical equations on social media to reveal the release date. The upcoming album is scheduled for release on November 6 via Disruptor Records and Columbia Records and is expected to feature eleven tracks. To support the launch, Cameron plans a 13-date North American tour, including a performance at Madison Square Garden.
